18 August 2016: India and Bangladesh meet between the information and Broadcasting ministry of India to take the decision of making a documentary film on 1971 War which shows the way of Independence of Bangladesh, M. Naidu among his Bangladesh complement Hasanul Haq Inu on Tuesday.
A super movie with Bangladesh to scratch the 100th birth anniversary of the Father of Bangladesh Nation, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman on 2020, also India will help in this production.
The meeting between the information and Broadcasting Minister of India M Venkaiah Naiaidu and Hasanual Haq Inu Information Minister of Bangladesh was held in Delhi. In the meeting Mr. Naidu said that India too knowledgeable which (AIR) All India Radio would begin launching on 23rd August an exclusive service for Bangladesh plus the Bangali diaspora titled “Akashvani Maitree.”
As per report said that the Indian President MR. Pranab Mukherjee would be launching the Radio channel that was invented to leave on air on 28th June. But it got late due to the cancellation of Mr. President’s tour to Kolkata for two days of the launch.
The President of India said that the channel would work as a ‘bridge of amity between the two countries.’
According to the source, Mr. Naidu said that “Information dissemination is critical to countering terrorism, which is a common issue plaguing India and Bangladesh. Timely and correct dissemination of information will prevent rumours and falsehood, while at the same time, builds a spirit of cooperation and understanding between people.”
Throughout the meeting, between two countries India and Bangladesh decided to arrange jointly for a joint audio-visual co-production agreement.
As per report, it also agreed to organise a Film Festival of Bangladesh in India plus the Film Festival of Indian in Bangladesh. The Minister of Bangladesh Hasanul Haq Inu also agreed the request of Mr. Naidu to grant the celluloid version of Bengali film Devdas, which was directed by Pramatash Barua in the year 1935.
Minister also obtains to train the youth entrepreneurs and the youth film makers of Bangladesh in the training institute and Indian film.
The Minister too state that the combined measures would live begins between (NDFC) National Film Development Corporation of India and Bangladesh Film Development Corporation to encourage the cooperative Production of film plus Bangladesh Film documentation and NFAI for archiving and digitization.
Both the Minister agreed to state the Training induction and faculty building for the media persons, and exchanging the programs among DD and its complement in Bangladesh, replace programme meant for the officers linked by the Information and Broadcasting.
